She is eating and appears to be a starvation case. Since she is so young and in such bad shape, her time is very short. Can anyone save her????  the staff really wants to save her :o/
This DOG - ID#A1309718

I am a female, brown and white American Bulldog.

The shelter staff think I am about 3 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Nov 22, 2010.

This information is less than 1 hour old.

URGENT!! Can you save these puppies? Jax FL

I am forwarding this for Chris who found these puppies at the side of the road and took them home.  He can not keep them since he has two dogs and his landlord won't allow him to have any more.  I saw these puppies yesterday and they are super sweet, they were shaking sitting in his car.  Just broke my heart that I couldn't help them.  I gave him some puppy food and he'll keep them for a couple of days, after that he probably will bring them to CCAC.    They are two males and about 3 and a half month old, one has very beautiful brown eyes, the other one has green eyes.   VERY SWEET.  Please contact Chris at 904-863-4083 if you can help.

Senior Male German Shepherd in Palm Coast FL

Rex

·                                 Breed: German Shepherd Dog
·                                 Sex: Male
·                                 Age: Senior
·                                 Size: Extra Large

About Me

We all know that times today carries many hardships one of which is keeping your best friend with you when you must leave your home. Rex and another shepherd thought they were their owners best friends until the owner moved and took both of the shepherds to the Shelter. Normally, German Shepherds are adopted quickly but in Rex's case, it may not be the case. The reason? Rex is 10 years old. His owner fattened him up and now surrendered him. Rex needs to loose quite a few pounds but that's not his biggest problem. Rex needs a forever companion for the rest of his senior years. He is a very gently guy who walks great on a leash. All he needs is warm, loving home. His owner said he was playful but that has not been seen yet. He's such a great boy. Can you give Rex love and that forever home?

Hi Christina,

I know that you do mainly Lab rescue but I know that you do know a lot of other rescues in Florida so I was wondering, if you could forward this onto a German Shepherd or a other rescue who can possibly pull this poor Senior Male German Shepherd at the Flagler Humane Society in Palm Coast.  He is just so obese and is a senior so his chances are most likely slim that he'll get adopted which is so heartbreaking as it is "Adopt a Senior Month".  He really needs to lose weight and needs some TLC and exercise.   He looks like such a sweet boy and it'd be so sad for him to spend the rest of the time he has in a shelter.

I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you,

He is NOT a mix.  Someone entered him incorrectly at Petfinder, a mistake that could cost him his life.

Miami FL--NOT ONE PERSON HAS CALLED ABOUT LUCY AT ALL--HEART BREAKING

Miami FL--NOT ONE PERSON HAS CALLED ABOUT LUCY AT ALL--HEART BREAKING--Lucy is suffering, looking for a home for 6 months, and is crated all day, Miami

COME ON SOMEONE PLEEEEZE - SHE IS GORGEOUS, JUST THE RIGHT SIZE AND LONGING TO "GET OUT OF THAT CRATE" SHE DOES NOT BELONG THERE - HELP HER PLEEZE - GIVE HER THAT HOLIDAY GIFT "A HOME" SHE DESERVES

PLEASE CROSS POST
PLEASE CONTACT :   KLCremer@aol.com

Lucy is lucky to be alive but she needs so much more than to live in a crate. Her foster mom is doing the best she can, but with so many foster dogs, Lucy is in a crate most of the time. She gets her play time outside a couple times a day, but the rest of the time she is crated. She longs to be a family dog and hang out and follow you around the house. It is heartbreaking to watch her when she is put back into the crate as she doesn't know why she has to spend so much time in there. Please give Lucy a chance to be part of a family.
Lucy is a very affectionate and loyal dog who was rescued from some dire circumstances.  She was found in the median on US Highway #1 in Homestead and was emaciated, parasitic and searching for food.  When we rescued her we discovered that she had string and bits of plastic and paper in her stomach.
Lucy is black with highlights of white on her feet, chest and neck and weights 43 pounds and is 1.5 years old.  She loves people and loves to ride in the car (will even ask to go bye-bye).  She loves to be with you and is great company. She is a superb watch dog.
Lucy is very emotionally in tune with people and she does play well with some dogs but not a dominant or aggressive one.  She is very strong physically and is very spirited in that she does everything with vigor and intensity.  Call Kathy  305 401 4693 if you want to meet Lucy.; KLCremer@aol.com

PLEASE CROSSPOST!!!
Okay guys, I'm gonna quit riding to Shelby. For two days we have seen this hound walking in a field. I thought it was someone hunting with her and then today she was sitting along side the road.  We were gone three hours and on the way back she was laying there.
I ran home fast and my husband went to look for her. She had gone back up into some woods and he got her.
I need a home SUPER FAST as she is very pregnant.  She is so super sweet, very skinny (backbones & hip bones sticking up) and has cuts from thorns all over her.  I do not have room to keep her and puppies.  I couldn't let her lay along the road for fear that some hunter would grab her up and not give the right care for her and the babies or worse kill the pups just to hunt her.   She looks very young as her teeth are super white. I am guessing some type of Coon Hound.
I gave her a big dish of puppy chow with some canned food and she walked away from it and continues to rub her belly on the ground! HELP ME FOLKS!   I do the handicappers and old-old guys and I just don't have the space for puppies.  I named her  Sarah "Palin"

South Florida... Big lovable guy needs a permanent home NOW!

Breed: Mixed
Color: Light Brown
Weight: 300lbs
House Trained : sort of

This one's a keeper!  This big guy's name is Sean.  Very lovable and playful.  Can be kind of a bull in a china cabinet, but, unbelievably, he can clean up after himself.  You can't go wrong with this one... he will get your slippers and newspaper for you, and, get this, COOK your dinner!  Be careful when you're eating though as he has taken food right from someone's mouth before!

This breed tends to live a long time, so please, tire-kickers need not respond.  Looking for a lifetime home.  Needs home with at least a 6ft fence... this guy will need plenty of outside playtime.  Need to keep an eye on him though or he will bbq a chicken.

Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity.  Sean will need to be picked up in East Boca... but transport can be arranged if this is too far for you!

If interested, just reply!

DIESEL.....AMERICAN BULLDOG MIX....Hello, my name is Adriana, and the handsome dog is Diesel. We rescued him from an abandoned house when he was 6 months old, him and his sister were left uncared for. She didn't make it. He was nothing but bones.  He is now 2 years old, 72 pounds, and the sweetest dog ever! neutered. Sadly, We cannot have him right now. He use to live at my mom's house but with the economy she lost her house, so she is now living with my brother & his wife. Both my brother & I rent, our landlords do not accept dogs inside their homes. So he's now living in my brother's garage :(. That's no life for him. Its so sad to see him in that small place, that i rather him find a home that he'll be truly happy at. Please help me find him a better home.  My phone # is 407- 922-9861. Click here for live video of Czar:      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPwT7Tigl6I
Czar, probably about 7 yo, is an  expensive dog of pure German lineage!  Huge fantastic head and face!!! He's been here less then 2 months now. Business man got him, but traveled so much that Czar was given to a caregiver, along with monthly stipend for food and meds.  When my friend D rescued him, he was living in literally a sand pit, skinny, lackluster coat, etc.  She turned him around but then had to move to an apartment or condo and had no where to put him.  As a last resort, I took him, since D is helping with meds, and we had two potential homes.  Good with horses, other dogs and cats.  Ideal indoor dog, but does love being outdoors according to D.  Always liked to hang with the horses, and also liked to sleep on porch at night.  Well, homes fell through, so here we all are...........a great STUNNING dog craving a FOREVER home soon!

CLICK HERE FOR LIVE VIDEO OF JOHN!       http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaTXqvfmsZM
John Galt, adorable younger GSDX, was left tied to this rescues gate during the summer heat with no water a year or so ago.  He is very smart and playful; gets along well with others and other dogs. In fact, Chrissy, his yard "mate",  was just adopted after waiting years too and now John is incredibly lonely and missing her dearly. LOVES WALKS AND BELLY RUBS!  Talk about a man's best friend- he's just ready to please!  He craves and soaks in every nook and cranny of love you give him!  a great companion choice for any family scenerio!! And he's got that rustic John Wayne look to him with that scar coloring by his eye-- it makes him SOO cute!   He is only approx 3 yo too. PICK ME I want my own home too!

Check out live video of Moe here!     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exlJ7Gr5--8
Moe (Mossad), another PB Rottie victim from a Kill shelter, has blossomed into this incredibly loyal and LOVING and playful young boy craving companionship and proving DAILY he has SO MUCH to offer! He would do well with older children/family/single companion. His options are unlimited!  Moe loves his attention and playtime.  Loves to  run and play.  Age is only approx 4.   Moe would do well in an apt setting even --- he doesn't ask for much but some love and playtime!!! CHOOSE ME! He's waited such a long time and within 15 minutes WITH HIM you'll see just WHY he's the one! Trust me!

CLICK HERE FOR LIVE VIDEO OF ROSIE:    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFh2vSTkX0I
Rosie Christmas is a stunning (OBVIOUSLY VERY PHOTOGENIC) Pitty mix ! She's only 3 yrs approx. in age. She was found by 2 good Samaritans on Roosevelt Blvd, a very busy thoroughfare in Jacks, Fl.  She was living under a bridge, running back and forth across this very unforgiving highway.  No takers and it was Christmas and mushy me took her.  Loves life, never met an enemy.  No malice towards anything.  When found, she had given birth, but pups apparently were dead. Would do so well in a home and is a quick learner! Sits to get her food and simply just wants to please everyone and take in what life has to offer her outside her fenced life day in and day out. She likes toys, frisbee, running, cuddling and well kissing!!!! lol  PICK ME! I"ve waited long enough!!! it's been years.

CLICK HERE FOR LIVE VIDEO OF JESSE AND RODDIE:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HNbeaO6Zt8
Jesse and Roddie, identical twins, are victims of several drug raids on same person.  Jesse is in the green collar- a female. Roddie is in the faded red collar- a male.  They love to play, rather bonded now due to years together.  They will eat out of same bowl together even! And when they finish they move on to the other food bowl- its quite the site! Their love is unending toward others and themselves!  Approx 8 yrs old,  VERY playful and UBER LOVING- these 2 are ones that DON'T act their age at all!! They show no gray, no stiffness...just like 2 youngins in behavior!  they want and need 1:1 attention and love so desperately - they've been outside together in rescue for years due to no fault of their own that's for sure....they deserve a family- hopefully together but if not a family apart....they are SUCH JOYS! please CHOOSE US! WE HAVE SOO MUCH TO OFFER any type family!

CLICK HERE FOR LIVE VIDEO OF MELISSA AND BRITCHES:    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTq6qEw5EJ4
Melissa (Missy Pie), the Rottie, had one litter of pups; owner then brought to a clinic to be PTS.  owner admitted to verbal and physical abuse because dog would not mind.  I have never had that problem with her.- go figure! Vet refused to PTS and called my rescue.   Dog definitely showed fear of people, particularly men but has come a long way and as you can see from all the love she was giving-- she's trusting and wants to be loved by someone again!  She is friendly, gets along with others, submissive, loves her "smelly belly" rubs and will offer her paw to shake.  She is a total sweetie.  Age is about 7 yo! what a DOLL! choose ME!

Britches, a white Pit Bull Mix and his best friend, a lab, were left at a vet clinic when owner moved.  General Britches watched while his best friend was adopted and he was left behind, alone.  He went downhill from there, and I finally brought him here to my rescue.  He is not aggressive, but actually somewhat submissive.  Extremely affectionate.  Would be fine in a home with other larger dogs too! as you can see him and Melissa are incredibly bonded now as they have spent YEARS here together outside.....they deserve a home-- preferably together ? could they get lucky enough?  His age is about 8 yo...
