This is Buddy. Two nights ago, while out running with nowhere to go, Buddy spotted a police car, and somehow knew that is where he could find help. The nice policewoman walked the neighborhood with Buddy, hoping to find his home. Sadly, Buddy doesn't have a home. The policewoman learned from people in the area that Buddy has been wandering around trying to survive for sometime now. He doesn't have a family. He doesn't have a warm bed to sleep in. He doesn't even have food in his tummy.
Not wanting to take Buddy to the pound, the kind policewoman called on a friend for help. This friend agreed to allow Buddy to stay in her garage for the night while she searched for a place for him to go. Rescues are beyond capacity and no one seems to have a safe place to offer this poor boy. With no other option, she was set to take Buddy to her local shelter today. Feeling just horrible, knowing what Buddy's fate will be, she has agreed to keep him ONE MORE NIGHT. Tomorrow, Sunday November 28th, Buddy will be going to that shelter....unless someone comes forward IMMEDIATELY and offers to take Buddy in. Even if we can find just a foster home for Buddy, a local rescue will take responsibility for him and put him up for adoption...but he NEEDS a safe place to stay while his Forever Home is found.
Buddy is said to be VERY people friendly and good with other dogs. He has not been cat tested. He is very thin from being on his own, but has all the love in the world to give. PLEASE...I BEG YOU...consider helping Buddy before it is too late. It is not his fault no one has cared for him before. It is not his fault he doesn't have a home or a family to love. It is not his fault that his young life is about to end.
