I couldn't resist this face!

This is Leo. He has been living in Southern Afghanistan with his soldier for around 8 months now. His owner does not want to leave him behind and his tour is coming to an end.

Leo's owner contacted us and asked for help, how could we say no?

Please help us to raise the funds to send Leo home to the USA and let him live the American Dream!

Leo's website and donation page is here

http://nowzaddogs.chipin.com/leo

Please help us by joining his FB Page and cross posting to spread the word.

Remember the more people who know the quicker we can raise his funds. Can we get 3000 people to donate just $1?

Thank you.

Black Lab: Abbey- Jax, FL

All she needs is some BIG love in a forever home~!

Anyone know a rescue, foster or home that can take this PB beautiful girl.  Poor baby.  Please post

Hi,
I'm looking to surrender our lab.  I really need help, Ive been trying to find a home for her for about 2 months now, I'm a new mom, working full time and am at my wits end.  I've tried multiple places and even had an opening at the Jax Human Society for our dog, but because my husband did not want to spend the $220 it cost to get her allergy tested they won't take her because she has 2 patches of hair loss on her body- where she itches herself because she lives outside.

Abbey BREED: Black Labrador Retriever- AKC certified ; GENDER: Female; AGE: Adult; SIZE: Large
Abbey is a very sweet, loving, and playful dog.  She is 8 years old and 70 pounds.  She loves everyone, and is always excited to meet new people.  Abbey is great with kids, and other dogs and loves to go for walks and lounge around.  She loves playing tug of war, sniffing things around the yard, but most of all, just being around people.  She can be let out to the backyard with no fence and she won't run away or try to hop over any fences.  She's up to date on her rabies and she has ear medication for her earmites.  She is housebroken, crate trained and spayed.  Cats are an unknown, but when we're on walks she hardly pays attention to them.

Please contact Debbie at DHeald@Celebration.org or 904-838-1894

Talia Needs a home! JAX FL

This dog is in danger of being sent to ACC.Please get the word out that Talia desperately needs a forever home.

Do You Have A Place For Me?
My name is Talia which means “sent from Heaven” in Hebrew.  I was dropped off at a dumpsite when I was just a few months old along with 4 brothers and sisters.  We were starving and very sick, but we were rescued and brought back to health by some pretty awesome, animal-loving ladies.
I am now 5 years old (~August 2010).  I love people, especially children.  I am friendly and loving, and a great companion dog.  I do best in a home with no other pets and in a home that has a privacy-fenced yard so I can run and play.  I am house broken and kennel trained, and prefer being inside hanging out with my family.  My kennel is my home, my safe place when my family isn’t home and at night when we are all asleep.  My kennel, my toys, my dishes go with me.  I love to run free in my back yard and chase the squirrels – I’ve caught about 7 now – I’m very fast (may have some Greyhound or Whippet in me, and my coloring and frame are very similar to a Rhodesian Ridgeback but smaller).  And, as for cats – well, they’re kinda’ like squirrels – moving targets that get my attention real quick…So no cats for me please.
The youngest member of my family, a sweet little girl with autism, has many allergies, and…well…she’s allergic to me too.  Mom needs to find me a really good home where I’m loved by someone or someones who are not allergic to me.  If you can give me a home or would like to hear more about me, please call my mom, Mrs. Kat Sharp at (904) 838-2971 or 886-5139.  Hope to see you real soon!

Indy needs a home ASAP

Please read and pass on to anyone who might be able to help.  This is a dog who has been raised in a loving home and will be euthanized on 10/13 because his owners have lost their home and have to move to an apt. and they cannot take him.  The email is from the vet tech at Eastside Vet Hospital, 1086 East Highway 50, Clermont, FL  34711.  Ph. (352) 394-6624

Thank you for reading and passing this on!

Hey Everybody Cindy here again.    I just got word from Indy’s mom today that they have to be out of their house on 10/13/10, if they haven’t found a loving home for him they will be bringing him in to be euthanized.  The owners are devastated over having to possibly do this to their loving pup.  Any help getting the word out and getting him placed prior to this date would be so greatly appreciated…..  Indy is a wonderful boy, it’s kills me that his life may have to end due to the state of our economy…..
Thanks Again,
Cindy

To All My Friends out there, please help me spread the word that Indy needs a loving home.  Indy has been coming to the Veterinary Hospital where I work for quite a while.  He is an awesome boy.  You can’t help but love him.  Please help me find this sweet guy a loving home.   Please see note below from his mom…….
Thanks ,
Cindy Drescher….

Indy has been with our family for 12 years, we adopted him when he was 1 1/2 years old he has been a wonderful dog.  My husband lost his Job last Oct. and  I have been on disability for a long time. Now after spending our savings we are forced to short sell our home.  Our last days in our home is  in  October.

Indy is a warm loving dog, loves others just loves to be next to people.  He does have a skin allergy and all I do is give him a predizone every other day one pill.  Please bless him with adopting him.  The place that we are moving is not allowing pets over 30 lbs   Thanks for taking your time to pass this to anyone who would love him.

Starke, FL_ URGENTLY NEED HELP -- VERY DEPRESSED "Main Coon" and 2 sweet dogs

CROSS POSTING
Can anyone pleas save these 2 special dogs and gorgeous Main Coon manx cat? There are not faring well at the shelter-all great animals. Please crosspost…

There are 3 special animals at Bradford that are having a very difficult time. All have been there for quite a few weeks and all are shelter favorites. The staff absolutely hates to think of euth'ing these animals, but must very soon. The first, Lacey, is a black bulldog with a heart of gold. She loves people but has become very sad; she sits at the front of her cage with her nose sticking through a hole waiting for someone to see her. Very sad. The second dog, Nick, was someone's wonderful pet. He's neutered and well behaved but, again, affected very much by being here. He is a gorgeous dog and extremely calm and gentle. Finally, there's Hemingway. Hemi is a Maine coon-like manx male cat who must have been someone's lap cat. All he does these days is lie at the door to his cage, sad beyond belief, rising only to purr and beg to be picked up and loved. Please help! Call shelter director Tracy Sayles at (904) 964-9200 or email her at: tracey_sayles@bradfordsheriff.org
